We really appreciated how the manager dealt with a booking price error. They explained it openly and handled things fairly, without putting the blame on us. They even offered us a roomy apartment instead of two rooms so we could all stay together with the kids. The whole approach felt exemplary. The breakfast was excellent, with a well-prepared continental spread, and secure parking in the underground garage is available via a car lift, which is a real plus in the center. The staff were also friendly, professional, helpful, and experienced. First Republic Hotel is very well placed for exploring Prague. It's close to the city center, Wenceslas Square, and the major attractions. We could walk to Charles Bridge and the Lesser Town, which worked well with children. We had a fantastic stay and would happily recommend it.

We spent three nights here with our 15-month-old son. The breakfast that came with the stay was phenomenal, and the rooms felt cozy. Everyone at the front desk was really friendly and spoke excellent English. It's roughly a ten-minute walk to the main tourist area, so the neighborhood stays quiet without feeling too far out. There's also a tram stop fairly close by.

The old windows let in quite a bit of noise, the shower holder was broken, and the mini fridge smelled really bad. It could use more maintenance. The room itself was large and nice, with a wardrobe in each room, plus a very practical little luggage storage room and a safe. The staff were kind, polite, and incredibly helpful. When they noticed at check-in that it was my wife's birthday, they treated us to a drink. I'd recommend the place.

We come back to this hotel every time we're in Prague. Vaclavske namesti is an easy walk away, and the breakfast is amazing. Highly recommend it!

The rooms could do with updating, but they were clean. Breakfast was good, and the staff were wonderfully friendly. We were very satisfied with our stay this week, especially since getting around the city from here was easy. Our room was cleaned daily, which was great. It would have been even better if the towels and linens had also been changed each day.
