Design Hotel Neruda

A lovely hotel in a nice location, with very kind staff and an amazing breakfast buffet ❤️ They put different stones in the water bottle each morning, each with its own meaning. I loved that personal touch, along with all the little details, even the note in the room. Thank you!

Our room was spacious, well equipped, and had a really comfortable bed. The hotel has a lovely atmosphere, and the breakfast buffet was excellent. Staff were warm and courteous throughout. Getting to the main train station by public transport was easy, and the 24-hour reception came in handy when we arrived after midnight. We’d happily recommend this hotel.

Being right next to Prague Castle made this hotel an ideal, affordable choice for me. As a solo traveler, I had a single room, but it was surprisingly roomy and had everything I needed: a huge queen bed with four pillows, a bathtub, a separate toilet, a closet, a chair, and a coffee machine. The GIRLS and the rest of the staff were smart, kind, and exceptional. Thank you, Design Hotel Neruda. If I ever find a Slovakian Check woman, I’ll come back! 😍

The staff were fantastic and very professional, and I wouldn’t want them to take this review personally. The hotel itself, though, feels like it’s well past its best. It may have had a lot of money put into it years ago, but now the facilities look worn and dated, with lots of little defects and old-fashioned choices. The photos don’t match the current condition, which felt misleading and disappointing. To me, the owners’ idea of a “design hotel” doesn’t fit a place that feels so rustic and poorly maintained, like a relic from when the promise matched reality.
