Tower apartments

The apartment had the appliances I needed, including a kettle, microwave, fridge, washing machine, hair dryer and toaster, though no oven. Communication from the agency was very quick, and the online check-in was convenient and automatic. It faces north, I think, so despite the heat in Prague it stayed nice and cool. The curtains let in light, though, so in summer I woke up early. There was no AC or fan. The payment setup was frustrating. Even though I’d given Booking.com my card, they required payment through their own system in local currency at their exchange rate, which cost me 5€ more. I guess they’re passing on bank costs. Before I paid, I got four or five emails warning that my reservation wasn’t guaranteed and might be cancelled. They kept sending them even though the deadline was still a ways off. It felt like harassment. They only provided one set of keys for an apartment meant for six. When I asked for another, they said it wasn’t possible because someone had once lost a second set and they had to change the lock. That doesn’t seem like a good reason to me. All in all, it’s a very good apartment and the agency isn’t bad, but the payment method is strange and the emails are relentless. If you can live with that, go for it.
