The apartment was clean and roomy, and the location was so good we didn't need public transport. After two months of travelling, having a washing machine was a real help. It was also great to come back to the air conditioning during such a hot summer. The kitchen had a stove, microwave, kettle, oven, and fridge, and getting into the building by code was easy. Check-in was confusing because we weren't told our apartment number. Once inside the building, we tried keys in the apartments until we found ours, LOL. The door doesn't have a lock, and I put a chair against it just in case. It stays shut because of the closing mechanism, but there's no proper lock or handle to turn, so I think the owner should fit a latch or lock. The shower head also slides down its holder instead of staying up, though that seems like a small repair.

The apartment was comfortable, well stocked, and had good Wi-Fi plus basic kitchen things for a longer stay. It's right in the center, and despite the crowds below, the noise wasn't as bad as I'd expected. Finding the entrance the first time was a little tricky, especially with no owner there. A few things need maintenance too, including broken fixtures like the showerhead.

Months later, the police investigation still hasn't led anywhere, and our phones have been tracked to Ukraine. We're still out more than 3000 euros. We were staying at FanTom Home in June when, on the very first night, someone got into our flat while we slept and took everything valuable: cash, passports, IDs, purses, and even the phones charging just centimeters from our faces. The police said the building lock wasn't working properly, which they blamed on FanTom Home. The security cameras were also out of order, again due to FanTom Home, so the police couldn't use them to find who did it. They even suggested it might have been an inside job. I can't stress how unsafe this flat felt, largely because of FanTom Home's negligence. Do not stay here.
