St. George Apartments

Our flat was spacious and good value, with a view over a courtyard and tiled roofs. It's an unserviced apartment on a narrow, steep cobbled street, just down the hill from the castle and St Vitus Cathedral, next to the Alchemy Museum. The ceilings curve down, so watch your head when getting out of bed at night.

The apartments are clean and in a central spot near the castle, up at the top of the cobbled streets. There are cooking facilities and a washing machine, which we didn't need, but they're handy if you're travelling.

The apartment was spotless, quiet, well cared for, and even bigger than I expected from the photos. The owners were very accommodating. It's in Prague's most elegant part, away from the evening drunk crowds. Only drawback for us was no air conditioning, so it got a bit warm in August.

The bedroom was magnificent, and the kitchen and bathroom were both clean and roomy. The place itself is a good size and well located, about a two-minute walk from Prague Castle, though hauling a stroller up there would be tough. There's a 55 to 65 inch TV with Netflix, plus free Wi-Fi that's fast and strong. We had a great time in Prague and were really happy with the apartment.
