I booked two nights but left after the first. I couldn’t get my money back and didn’t care; I just wanted to get out of that horrible place. The female four-bed room on the fifth floor was unbelievably dirty, as if it hadn’t been cleaned in a hundred years. I was the only person in it that night, maybe on the whole floor; the only person I saw was a girl who left during the night. Dust and stains were everywhere, the bin was full when I arrived, and there were used tissues under my bed. The toilets were filthy and had no paper. Every shower was dirty, broken, or wouldn’t lock, and I eventually found a normal one on the fourth floor. I’ve never given a hostel such a low rating. Don’t book it; there are plenty of nearby hostels for the same price.

The shared bathroom and shower facilities were cleaned daily, and they even gave us towels when we’d forgotten to pack ours. The location is perfect, with the main tourist attractions a 15-30 minute walk away. The hostel looked just like the pictures, so there were no surprises.

The room I had was in the attic, with dormer windows, and it got extremely hot in August. There was no air conditioning, only a small fan that didn’t ventilate the room. I don’t know how the air conditioning is in winter. The bathrooms were clean and there were plenty of them. The location is incredible, right behind Prague's main square, and the elevator was very convenient.

For the price, the living conditions were acceptable and good. Management was very good, and there’s a shared room where you can sit and wait for check-in or check-out without anyone bothering you. Check-in and check-out were friendly. I took a private trip to relax and visit Prague, and I’d stay again if I’m back.

The location was excellent and the stay was comfortable. Everything else was good for the price, but I had a disappointing interaction with one receptionist, who seemed unwelcoming and didn’t show basic hospitality. I hope management gives staff better training in guest interaction and professional behavior.
