Mosaic House Design Hotel

I’m finishing up my stay in the lovely upstairs café library, and I’ve been impressed by how thoughtfully the room and hotel are designed. The room amenities were great, the prices very fair, and the bed was new and firm with crisp sheets. The bathtub is huge too. Breakfast in the café was delicious, with both à la carte choices and a buffet. We also had a 90-minute couples massage at the spa, the best massage I’ve ever had. She worked out knots in my back I didn’t know were there. The hotel is close to some amazing places, two blocks from the river and half a mile from the National Museum. I usually like trying somewhere new and have never returned to the same hotel, but I’ll come back here. It’s been such a lovely experience and well worth the price.

Our standard room had more than we needed, including a smart TV, Bluetooth speaker, water refilled each day, and a coffee machine that was restocked. The bed was comfy, and the outside shutters made it nice and dark. The spacious bathroom had a large walk-in shower and shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel. The hotel itself is beautifully designed, modern but still cozy and welcoming. We found the location handy, around 10-15 minutes on foot from Prague center, the old town, and many attractions. There were restaurants, cafes, and bars nearby, but the area wasn’t too busy or loud. Breakfast at the hotel was delicious with lots of choice, and staff were friendly and helpful. We booked the private sauna for only £24, which was a bargain. Having it to ourselves, with sunbeds and an ice bucket shower, felt luxurious. I’d definitely recommend booking it. Couldn’t recommend the hotel more for a Prague trip!

On this second visit I stayed in the hotel with a friend, each of us in our own room. Before, I’d been with family in the apartment across the street, which was excellent. The things I liked last time were still there: friendly, polite service, helpful staff, and a clean, nicely decorated hotel. Everyone we met was willing to help. Our room was very well equipped and spotless, breakfast was superb, and the welcome drink tokens were a nice touch. We used the spa, with its jacuzzi and sauna, and had a bottle of prosecco included. Some time slots have a lower rate, so booking ahead might be worthwhile. The hotel is in an excellent spot, away from the big tourist crowds but still within walking distance of major sights. There’s a metro stop around the corner, plus trams and trolley buses passing by. We bought a 72-hour travel card for £13 on the PID transport app. I visit Czech Republic often and will look at staying here next time I’m in Prague.

The breakfast buffet was the best and tastiest I’ve had at any hotel, and I’ve traveled all over the world. The lobby, dining room, and our room were gorgeous, clean, well designed, and comfortable. Mosaic House was perfectly located for walking around the city, with plenty of good restaurants and things to do nearby. Our flights were disrupted by the weather, so we arrived a day early and had two separate reservations. The check-in team combined them without any fuss, all smiles, and offered a welcome drink to help us recover from the travel. The staff were kind and very helpful throughout. If you’re wondering whether to book, don’t hesitate. I don’t write many reviews unless I feel strongly, and this place really earned one.
