Penzion Rohožník

The room was cramped, there was no balcony access, and the internet barely worked. I had a router, but still got no connection or signal. The receptionist also treated me badly, as if she hated me for no reason.

The rooms were clean despite the building being a bit old, and we had everything we needed with a supermarket right across the street. It's a little way from downtown, but the nearby bus stop made getting there easy. The owners were really sweet and helpful too.

The one good thing was the man at reception, who was kind, positive, and always willing to help with questions. The rest of the place was a poor-standard hostel, not a boarding house. The owner came across as arrogant and treated guests with disgust. Some rooms have bugs and other unpleasant creatures, and the furniture is in bad shape. It seems you only get help from the owner by making a scene, after which they threaten to evict you.

This place is old, far from the center, and overrated. The rooms look like they haven't changed since the 70s, and not in a good way. We were promised a king-size bed but got three singles, and the beds were hard like a couch. The flat-screen TV we were told to expect wasn't there either. We were also promised free private parking, but on arrival they said it would cost 100ck. The bathroom, shared with one other room, was very old. I'd spend a little more and stay elsewhere.
