The Hotel Fitzgerald

We especially liked having a bar that stayed open late, and the beer on tap was a nice bonus after outings nearby. The trams were easy to reach, making it simple to explore Prague. The location worked really well, and breakfast was enjoyable. Our room was clean and well looked after, and the staff stayed welcoming and helpful throughout. The gym and sauna were also in good shape. We'd recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Prague.

We hosted a private event here and appreciated how calm and private the setting was. The staff were attentive and helpful, and everything ran smoothly. It's a professional boutique hotel with excellent service. Highly recommended for events where discretion and quality matter.

The team were genuinely kind and welcoming during our stay, which made the problem on our last night all the more upsetting. Around 7pm, as we were heading out, we found the room door wouldn't lock from outside or be secured from inside. I told the receptionist straight away. She tried a key, but it didn't help, and said she'd contact a technician while we were out and update us when we got back. We returned around 11pm to find it still unresolved. We were told there was no manager on duty to escalate the issue and no other rooms available. They offered us a bottle of wine, which we turned down. We spent the night with a door that couldn't be locked, and I felt genuinely unsafe. There should be a clear response in a situation like this: move us to another room if possible, arrange somewhere nearby, or at least give a partial refund for that night. Safety should never be optional. We were extremely disappointed.

I was here on business for several days. The rooms were spacious and clean, and although the area was quiet, there were plenty of restaurants and shops just a few minutes away on foot. The staff were endlessly friendly and accommodating, and went above and beyond. I highly recommend the hotel and will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Prague.
