We spent a week here with the children and all fell in love with the place. It's right in nature, with mountain views and a nice playground for kids. Breakfast was delicious, and the owners did something thoughtful for us each day. They were amazing, and made the stay feel even more special.

The only friendly staff member was the dog. The host I encountered was the most unfriendly I've ever met in a hostel and made us feel unwanted and like a nuisance. Our room smelled, and the toilet lids were badly fixed in all four rooms we booked. We chose the place for our kids because the listing and online photos showed a swimming pool. It was gone, replaced by a baby-sized inflatable pool that wasn't usable. We asked about getting our clothes washed and were quoted 200 CZK, but the price had doubled when we picked them up. I can't recommend it, and we definitely won't return ☹️

The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and cosily furnished, and the price is reasonable for Špindlerův Mlýn. We've stayed several times and really enjoyed it. It's about a five-minute walk, or ski, to the St. Peter valley and ski area, and around ten minutes to downtown. Breakfast is continental, with pleasant portions. I recommend it!

There are parking spots right beside this small pension, which makes a handy base for a vacation in the mountains. It's well placed for trekking trips, biking, and other outings.

We found our hosts very helpful and they gave us all the information we needed for a pleasant, safe stay. Breakfast was enough, with that family-run-business feel. Our room was nicely furnished and decorated, and the garage parking was especially handy in winter. The pension sits on a hillside above Spindleruv Mlyn, with a beautiful view over the valley and city center. Svaty Petr's ski slopes are just down the hill.
