The room was unbelievably tiny, more like somewhere to keep brooms or bed linen, and the price doesn't make sense for it. Staff aren't at the guesthouse through the day. They appear at check-in, show you around, then vanish. There's a pub on site, but without staff nothing is going on there, so apart from breakfast you have to go elsewhere for beer or food. Not for me.
We spent a full week here and were happy with the stay. The place is basic rather than luxurious, and the furnishings are older, but our room was clean and the staff were helpful. Breakfast always left us full. We brought our dog, which was fine once we'd arranged it with them. Simple, pleasant accommodation.
A cozy, pleasant place, and everything was clean. The staff were wonderful. Thanks for making us feel so welcome.
We really enjoy staying here and were very satisfied. The service was nice and the food tasted great.
Weekend salsa workshops at this guesthouse are hard to beat :)
