Janina, Patrik and Ari 🐾🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻 made us feel so welcome. They’re kind and attentive, and it’s obvious they care about their guests. The breakfasts were fresh, tasty and thoughtfully prepared, just right before heading out into the surrounding nature. Our room was cozy and clean, with a warmth that felt more like home than a hotel. It’s quiet here, with Šumava’s fresh air in the morning and a real family feel throughout. A lovely place to return to.

The owners were kind and welcoming, and breakfast was both tasty and filling. We arrived during the chilly autumn weather to find the rooms already pleasantly warm. They had everything we needed, and the view from the guesthouse was beautiful. We’d gladly stay again.

The rooms are nicely furnished, and breakfast can be ordered. It’s a quiet, pleasant place, and the hosts are lovely. Pets are welcome too. There’s a forest nearby with plenty of wild berries and mushrooms, and children can see the little flock of sheep and the rabbits. I was completely satisfied.

We had a great stay at Sepp Rankl Guesthouse. Our clean, comfortable apartment looked out toward the mountains and the sunrise. The place is in a peaceful setting, and the owners are warm and helpful, with good advice on making the most of a visit to Šumava. There are lots of lovely places to see nearby, so we’d recommend staying here.
