The staff made the evening feel so welcoming, and even brought my dog a bone with meat on it. The dessert was impressive too, you could taste the quality of the ingredients. I grew up in the region and know several places I like to visit when I'm here, but this is easily the best restaurant around for me. We tried the specialty cabbage and pork steak, two things we wouldn't usually order, and both were full of flavor. And the beef tartare was the best I've ever had. I've eaten at restaurants all over the world and order tartare almost every time, so I don't say that lightly. The freshness, flavor, and balance were just right. Highly recommend!

The menu and food had such a fresh, refreshing feel. It was surprisingly less crowded than the other places on the square, and we loved it.

We stayed in the lovely apartments upstairs at Vratislavský Dům, and the restaurant below was the real highlight. Its modern Czech cooking makes good use of fresh local ingredients, handled with care and creativity. The aged steak was outstanding, and the seasonal dishes were just as impressive. Everything tasted rich but still refined, and portions were generous without being too much. Service was warm, professional, and genuinely friendly. If you're heading to Třeboň, pairing a stay in the apartments with dinner or breakfast here is a great idea. Vratislavský Dům has real heart and quality. We'd love to come back!

The regional brewery beer was very good, and the service was especially friendly. The food was delicious, with a modern take on local cuisine. Definitely a standout spot in the old town.
