The view across the surrounding landscape makes this a lovely place to enjoy a meal. I especially liked the braised beef with green beans, roasted potatoes, and creamy herb sauce; it was hearty but still felt balanced and fresh. The roasted duck with red cabbage and potato dumplings was comforting and full of rich flavor. We finished with apple strudel, whipped cream, and ice cream. The warm pastry and cool cream made for a really satisfying dessert. A relaxing spot for traditional Czech food.

The city looks beautiful from here, and it’s a popular spot for good reason. We didn’t eat, though the dishes looked tempting. The restaurant feels professional, with excellent Czech beer and wine.

We went back to Větruśe for dinner last week and had a lovely time revisiting a place that means a lot to us. We got married here in 2020, and the wedding was perfect for us. The staff gave excellent service, the hotel rooms were comfortable, and the food was exquisite. We loved the location too.

I had the slow-braised young beef with svickova cream sauce, cranberries, buttermilk, and Viennese dumplings. The prices are reasonable, and it’s a good local restaurant with a fantastic view of the city and mountains.

For a restaurant that’s meant to be four star, this is unacceptable: one of the men’s toilets by the restaurant has a broken door that won’t shut properly, and there’s no lock. There isn’t even a sign warning about it. I’ll take down this bad review once a manager tells me when it’s been fixed.
