The room at Měšťanský pivovar a hotel Na Zámečku was clean, comfortable and nicely prepared, and I felt at home right away. The place has its own charm and character, with a cozy feel and a bit of history. The staff were warm, attentive and always ready to help with a smile, which made the stay feel personal. It was a memorable visit, and I’d happily come back. I can highly recommend it to anyone after a special, comfortable place to stay.

The food was a delicious symphony, and the service was so pleasant, all for a reasonable price. The smiling, kind steward knew every detail about the food and was keen to help and recommend what might suit you. The desserts were stunning and tasty. There’s room for about 40 people in the outside garden, or around 60 inside in the cozy interior. A little piece of gourmand paradise in East Bohemia. If I could give six stars, I would.

Nice place, with roomy rooms and stylish furnishings. The restaurant is also pleasant, with decent meals and a nice dessert. A heads-up: the restaurant bar serves as reception, since there are only a few rooms and no dedicated desk. The walls don’t block much sound either, though it’s a small place with just a few rooms. They also give you free Metaxa as a welcome drink :)

The interior and surroundings are lovely, but this is a brewery that doesn’t brew beer. The service was okay, while the food was disappointing. The beef broth was average, the Svickova wasn’t very good, and the burger was a complete mess, with a patty that was insanely oversalted. The meal wasn’t cheap either. I’d avoid it until they figure out what they’re doing.
