The apartment has everything you need, even a small kitchenette. It’s in a quiet part of the city but still gives you quick access to the center. Perfect accommodation, and we’ll happily return. I recommend it.

After this conversation, we found much better and cheaper accommodation in Ruda, so our stay there ended up being a success. At least we didn’t have to make our own beds, like Áda’s guests do. But the experience booking this place was a mess. We’d made a successful reservation for our pet on Booking.com and got a confirmation saying the owner was looking forward to seeing us (see photo), so we set off. Since we were making good time, we tried calling to ask if we could arrive an hour early. He only picked up after two hours, and it was already clear this wouldn’t go smoothly. He didn’t know about our booking at all. When he found it, he’d assigned us a different room from the one we booked. Then, after hearing our dog weighed around 22 kg, he said we could come but not bring the dog, even though he knew I was already in Klatovy. We’d also mentioned in the booking note that we had a medium-breed dog, and the confirmation said nothing about a weight limit. He blamed Booking.com, which felt like an alibi to me, since I know how Booking.com works. His behavior seemed stuck in the 90s, when perhaps that was normal, but most owners are on a completely different level now.
