The food was quite unhealthy, very traditional Czech cooking, and not in a good way. The staff were super rude. They wouldn't even let us wait, and it was obvious they didn't want any new customers.

A year later, we came back and had another excellent meal with amazing service. I couldn't post a separate review, so I'm editing this one to show my appreciation. Highly recommend the food and service! On our first visit, we stopped for lunch at the start of a week exploring Sumava. The meal was so good that a week later we drove 100 km back just to eat here again. The deer meat and pork rib, homemade bread and knedliky, and plum dumpling covered in cream were all out of this world. The service was impeccable, and the food even better. Can't wait to come back soon. Five stars for the service and cuisine.

The lady serving us suggested the appelbeignets and pancakes with berries and crème, and they were fantastic. Best pancakes we've had in Špičák and the surrounding area, and believe me, we've tried them all! We came in hoping for a good coffee and found the right place. The cappuccino was lovely and the service amazing. Love from Belgium.

After hiking to the black heart lake and devils lake, we stopped here for food. The menu was only in Czech, so we chose random dishes with the waiter's help. We weren't disappointed. Every meal was special, full of flavor, and cooked to perfection. Great place and great food.
