Breakfast was plentiful, and the wellness facilities were convenient, though the opening times were a little awkward. The hotel itself was very comfortable.

The spa was empty and quiet when I tried it, and it was free, so that worked out perfectly. Breakfast was good, and the staff were fine too. My room was spacious and clean, though it looked a bit worn. I’ll definitely stay here again when I’m in town for work.

The spa is beautiful, so it’s a shame it wasn’t operating. That was a big downside for us. We’re coming back between Christmas and New Year, this time in a regular room. On our weekend stay, we had a room with its own sauna. The breakfast buffet was excellent, and the staff were helpful and spoke good English. The hotel is central, with an easy walk to the city center. One odd thing: the TV was about 10+ meters from the bed, so watching from there wasn’t possible. We used our laptop instead.

A few rooms look onto the hotel’s indoor atrium, so check that if a window view matters. Otherwise, the rooms are spacious, comfortable, and 100% clean, with big bathrooms that have both a tub and a shower. There’s a minibar and reasonably fast free WiFi. The restaurant, currently moved to the hotel’s main hall during reconstruction, serves steaks and local and other dishes, plus Pilsner Urquell beer. There’s also wellness and a bar on the third floor. For me, it’s the best accommodation in the center of Zlín.

The restaurant is beautiful, and the meat was amazing. Our waiter was really nice too. The brownies for dessert weren’t baked properly, though.
