The service was professional, and the hotel sits conveniently between the train station and Znojmo’s old town. Breakfast was included and basic but fine. My room’s bathroom, though, felt dated. There was nowhere to hang the shower head, so I had to sit down to shower.

Znojmo is a fantastic town, and the hotel has a good location. I slept well, the breakfast was excellent, and the staff were kind and helpful.

A good value hotel for a vacation, with friendly restaurant service, good food and beer. The rooms are a little older, but they’re quiet and clean, and the location is good. Parking can be hard to find on working days. Reception closes at 10 pm, though you can still get in with a key.

The location was a real plus, just five minutes from the city centre, and the restaurant was good, with its prices listed in CZK. Finding a place for the car nearby was much less convenient, since the hotel has no dedicated guest parking. Payment for the stay was awkward. The hotel account was in EUR, not CZK, and its exchange rate meant we paid about 7% more than the CZK estimate shown by Booking. We had to transfer the money before arrival and email the payment confirmation. After we booked, they also asked us to agree to a 1 EUR fee for choosing one large bed instead of twin beds. For the restaurant, you had to pay in CZK.
