Penzion Eden

Okay.

The atmosphere was nice.

The pool, the pergola seating, and the enclosed parking made the stay on those hot days especially pleasant. The guesthouse has a welcoming feel, and the owners were pleasant. Our room was clean and had air conditioning; breakfast was sufficient. We stayed a week and were satisfied. Shops are nearby, and the city center isn't too far by car or bus. It would be good to have insect screens on the windows. Thanks for a lovely stay. 🤗

At least the pool was a plus. We booked only a few nights ahead, and the lady was helpful, gave us the largest room, and waited for us to check in. The electronic access was convenient, though there are fewer parking spots than rooms, so parking outside the gate may be possible. The room itself was adequate, but WiFi didn't reach the upper floors. The fridge was dirty, there was no bathroom curtain, and the whole room for eight people had just one towel hook. The garbage sometimes smelled, and there was only leftover toilet paper when we arrived. Breakfast was a problem on its own, especially for 180 CZK per person. In summer, fresh fruit and vegetables should be easy to provide, along with plain yogurt, whole grain pastries, and more variety. Nobody ate the spreads, the margarine was sitting in water, and the artificial buns were ridiculous. The outdoor bar was poorly run too, and a week-old keg of beer is hardly a treat.
