The surroundings were very quiet, and my ground-floor double room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and more than I needed for one night. I really enjoyed the breakfast, especially the local jams and fresh bread. It was my first trip to Germany in over two years, and once again I was impressed by the food quality compared with similar accommodation in Croatia. The staff were kind enough to arrange check-in outside their working hours. My only bad moment came from missing that the top part of the window was open, so cigarette smoke from people standing outside drifted into the room.

We had a lovely recent stay at the family-run Wasmayr Hof with friends. The family made us feel very welcome and couldn’t have been more helpful. Our rooms were comfortable, modern, spacious, and clean, and breakfast was tasty. We can only recommend the Wasmayr Hof.

The rooms were well equipped, and the family were kind and very helpful. They even offered us complimentary food and drink, and we’d definitely stay again. Wasmayr Hof is a beautiful family-run and owned hotel about 70km from Munich. Without a car, the trip into the city takes around two hours and costs up to €25 return: shuttle buses run from just down the road to a place called Landshut Bay, where you can take a train via Freising to central Munich. It’s absolutely beautiful.
