JC&BLUE Guesthouse - Hostel

The only real downside was the room assignment. When you book a four-bedroom on Airbnb, they may put you in any available four-bedroom rather than the one shown in the pictures. Aside from that, I really liked this hostel. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the bathrooms were generally very clean. Staff were friendly, breakfast was tasty, and there’s a cool library and seating area. I’d definitely visit again.

Our room was spotless, and the night was especially quiet. The boys’ and girls’ rooms and toilets were separate, which felt very considerate. At check-in, the host explained how the room was set up. They were very nice, and there was a cute, friendly kitten at home that came over to play. Highly recommended, I’ll stay again next time!

The owner is super nice and helpful, and there’s a beautiful cat. The bathroom and kitchen are shared, and you may share your room too, though I was lucky enough to have it to myself. It’s a good place to stay over if you don’t want to spend much in Cologne. It’s very close to the main train station, which is handy for travellers, but the area feels quite shady at night. All in all, I’d stay there again.

I found the place easily, and the location is really convenient, close to the station. The room and furniture were clean and lovely, and the staff were friendly and kind. Breakfast was delicious, honestly much better than I expected for something free. I’d seen some bad reviews, but nothing like what they described happened to me. It’s cheap, calm, clean, safe, and has what I need. If you want high-end service, book a five-star hotel. I’d happily come back here. Thanks very much!
