Radisson Blu Hotel, Frankfurt

Everything felt perfect, from the hotel and food to the atmosphere and especially the stunning views. We had a wonderful stay. A special thank you to Natalie and Uarda at the front desk. When they learned we’d just gotten married, they surprised us with an upgrade to a better room and made us feel celebrated. Their warmth, kindness, and professionalism made the stay unforgettable. The hospitality goes far beyond expectations. This place creates beautiful memories, and we can’t wait to come back.

Uarda made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. She was so kind and attentive at reception, and did everything she could to get us into our rooms quickly. We really appreciated how warmly she greeted us. The room was quiet, very clean and thoughtfully designed, with parquet floors, a lovely bathroom and a great view. We slept fantastically. Everything felt modern and well equipped, and nothing was missing. Breakfast was excellent, and the waiter at the bar was exceptionally friendly. We stayed two days on a private visit to Frankfurt and came away very pleasantly surprised. We’d happily return.

The location made it easy to get everywhere, and the staff were friendly and helpful. But the property feels dated and poorly maintained. The gym was in bad shape, our minibar was completely empty, and there was almost no soundproofing. We were here briefly for a conference. Breakfast was disappointing too, bland and short on flavor. The service and location were good, but the hotel needs significant updates. I wouldn’t choose to stay here again.

The hotel was busy, but the staff handled things really well. I was upgraded as a VIP member to a room with an amazing view, and overall I had a good experience during my two nights here. Room 1209 had a couple of problems, though. There was a strong smell of smoke, which put me off as a non-smoker. I told reception, and they said they’d look into it. When I came back that evening, there was a do not disturb sign on the door that I hadn’t put there. The room hadn’t been cleaned or made up, the bed hadn’t been touched, and the smell was still there. Since the hotel was so busy, I left it. The shower temperature was also unpredictable. After 10 to 20 seconds at a comfortable setting, the water would suddenly get scorching hot for a few seconds, then return to normal. It’s a really nice hotel otherwise, and what I’d expect from Radisson Blu.
