The room was spacious and clean, and worked well for our family of four. There are plenty of shops and restaurants close by, and Old Town is an easy, brisk 10-minute walk away from this downtown Frankfurt hotel. But there are a few things to know before booking. A nightclub is right below, and the noise and drunken yelling went on through the night. I was still being woken up at 4:30am. There’s no breakfast despite signs saying otherwise, and coffee costs €2, which you have to ask for. When you arrive, there’s no one at reception, so you’ll need WhatsUp handy to find someone who can get you your keys. For an overnight stay, or if you’re traveling alone without family, it could work. Otherwise, I’d look elsewhere.

For a short stay, this was a great choice for the price, and I had a very good experience. The staff were really friendly and helpful. It’s right in the heart of Frankfurt, with lots of shops nearby and the central station about a 10-minute walk away.

Even after I called the hotel twice to confirm the room I’d reserved through a website, the manager had no room for me when I arrived. I had to argue to get a room that had apparently already been reserved for someone else, or for another person. On top of that, they charged me the same price for a single room as for a room for two. The organization was really bad. This was the worst experience of my life and doesn’t deserve even one star. I’d strongly recommend paying a little more to stay somewhere else.
