Check-in was easy with the codes from the email, and the location works well: REWE is next door, the S-Bahn is a five-minute walk, and the airport connection is great. The kitchen had all the essentials, and I cooked dinner without a problem. The apartment-style room was large, comfortable, and had what we needed, though the bed was surprisingly small for all that space. There was a horrible sewer smell in the bathroom, so we kept the door shut to stop it spreading through the room. It eased after the first shower but was still unpleasant. The shower itself was okay, but the glass had no closing door, so water flooded the bathroom each time. The toilet wasn't very clean, and the cleaning service could have been better. It's more of an apartment than a hotel. Prices are similar to others nearby, and after staying at a few, I don't see much difference.

Check-in was easy and the location was good. Parking costs extra, €7 for seven hours overnight, which was annoying. The room looked clean when we arrived, but by morning we found three small bugs that looked like roaches, including one in the bed. They weren't bed bugs.

The rooms are spacious, with great water pressure and a nice kitchenette, and the price and location near Frankfurt Airport are excellent. Getting into the room, though, was a mess. Around 5 pm I arrived to find eight people waiting to type passport details and confirmation codes into the one self-check-in kiosk. There was no lobby WiFi for visitors without international data, and no staff around. Two people had to ask strangers to use their data just to get checked in. Several guests got keys that didn't work. With the queue and these problems, it took me about 45 minutes to reach my room, and my key stopped working after the first entry. Two other people in the lobby had the same issue and couldn't reach staff by phone or email. I eventually got someone on the phone, who explained that I needed to search my emails for two separate codes. The building door code had arrived at 9 am. A different email, sent that evening after I checked in, had a long code to initialize the room keypad lock and another, shorter code for the room. We eventually got into our rooms, but the confusion could have been avoided with better communication. Receiving a dozen separate emails for a one-night stay was confusing and unnecessary.

The room was clean and had everything I needed, including a kitchen stocked with the cookware and utensils for making meals. I had to bring my own oil and spices. There's a grocery store around the corner. It was quiet, though there's no AC, so it got a bit hot in the morning. Manageable, and I'd already gotten used to no AC in Germany by then. The station is one train stop from the airport, and after a quick three-to-five-minute walk with my luggage I was at the hotel door. Trains into the city take about 10-15 minutes to the centre. Check-in and room access were a little confusing, but the staff were friendly and helpful.
