I was here on a Lufthansa overnight voucher after missing a connection. The room felt old and below average, and the receptionist was disappointing. He said he would call Lufthansa to confirm I hadn't eaten, but didn't. He also refused to give me written confirmation, saying it was none of my business, even though Lufthansa could assume I'd used the voucher for an à la carte meal. Later he said he didn't care. I was charged €20.50 for an à la carte alternative and got no help with reimbursement.

The location is convenient, a short distance from Frankfurt Airport, but the hotel feels dated and the staff were unwelcoming from the start. My room was basic, with no quilts or extra pillows, wasn't cleaned daily, and there was no iron available. The gym was often closed for repairs, and the restaurant food disappointed me. Early check-in before 3 PM cost an extra €30 even when the room was ready. I'd look elsewhere, since a nearby hostel might offer a better deal and a more pleasant stay.

The shuttle was reliable and convenient, and the staff were kind at all hours. They managed everything smoothly, from the room to breakfast. I was dreading an exhausting night after my Lufthansa flight was cancelled, but check-in was quick and seamless. Since the hotel is close to the airport and often used for cancelled-flight stays, they had everything prepared. They gave me a sheet with useful information, a shuttle coin, and a buffet voucher. If your airline books you here, don't stress, they know what they're doing. Many thanks to them.

The first visit was okay, but the second was an absolute nightmare. I was charged three extra times, €100, €30, and €50. It took lots of calls and emails to get the money back, and they kept saying the person I needed was out of the office or unavailable. They didn't try to make up for any of the mistakes. The hotel isn't very far from the airport, but transport options are limited and the shuttle is way overpriced. I would give zero stars if I could. I'll never stay there again. The stress of them taking my money wasn't worth it.

The location is awkward: the hotel is beside the landing strip, with roads and little else around. There's a free airport shuttle twice an hour, about a 15-minute ride, but the €15 return fare is steep, and public transport to the city centre takes a long time. The rooms were clean, good, and comfortable, though ours wasn't cleaned during our two-night stay. Service was rather slow and limited, especially at the conference dinner. The buffet food was stale but okay, with a decent selection.
