Ramada by Wyndham Frankfurt Central Station

The new bar area is nice, though it doesn’t have much atmosphere. The hotel is old, but improvements are being made, and I’ve only run into a few small issues despite my worries from reading the reviews. The staff don’t seem very interested in their jobs, though. I couldn’t even get more teabags, and as a Diamond loyalty member I received no recognition. We’ll see what happens when we ask for late checkout.

I stayed for two weeks, and eventually stopped asking for things to be fixed because the staff just ignored me. After telling them five times that my room needed a smoke detector, I reported the hotel to the local fire service for non-compliance. There’s no way this is a three-star hotel, two stars at best.

The room was clean, the location was great, and the value for the price is quite high. Everything was fine for me, and I didn’t run into any of the problems other commenters mentioned. Noise from next door might be the one issue.

The carpet was disgusting and the room wasn’t clean. We didn’t find bed bugs, luckily, but worrying about that all night wasn’t worth saving money on a cheap room. I really don’t recommend staying here unless your budget leaves you no choice. Try looking further for a better hotel.
