Ferienhof Gerda

We’re already looking forward to seeing the farm in summer, when everything’s green and the flowers are out. We first came in winter, and the snowy scenery was breathtaking, like a picture book. It was so peaceful there, a real chance to breathe and forget everyday life. Even with the winter weather, Gerda did everything she could so our daughter could ride her favorite pony, Beauty. We also loved the animals. The rabbits were tame, loved children, and could be petted whenever we wanted. The sheep are expecting lambs, and the cuddly tomcat brothers won over us cat lovers straight away. The host family is so warm and welcoming, and they put a lot into making guests feel comfortable. We felt like part of farm life, not just visitors. My husband even got a thoughtful gift for his birthday, which we celebrated there. We’re sure we’ll be back!

Dear Gerda and Marcel, the peaceful setting of your farm was lovely. We could set off walking right away, far from the noise and bustle. My children had fresh air and things to discover all day, from the animals and evening feeding to pony rides and the giant trampoline. Thanks for such kind hospitality. We felt like part of the family, and that personal, welcoming atmosphere made the week really special. I hope we can return soon!

We spent a wonderful New Year’s Eve at the farm as a family with two children. The Stork's Nest apartment was really cozy. It’s a quiet place with lots of animals to pet, including horses and ponies, sheep, and rabbits, so it’s a paradise for kids. There are plenty of sleds for enjoying the snow.

We had a lovely farm break with our granddaughters, who were 1 and 5. They both got to ride the ponies, and could visit the rabbits in the barn. In the evenings, the kids collected chicken eggs and fed the animals. The grounds are spacious and beautiful, and the hosts are very friendly. There are lots of play options for children of all ages.
