Pension Villa Kassandra

A clean room with a bath and toilet, friendly staff, and a good breakfast. You can park a motorcycle for free behind the house. They only take cash. The location is perfect and cheap as a starting or ending point for a trip through the Harz mountains.

The rooms were nicely furnished and very clean, and we'll definitely book again. The old villa is stunning inside, with so much to look at. It's a must-see. We were given such a warm welcome. 😄👍👌

We loved the quiet setting and stunning view at Villa Kassandra in Altenau. The accommodation is tastefully done, spotless, and has everything needed for a relaxing stay. The hosts made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived and were incredibly friendly and helpful. Everything is modern but still cozy, and the amenities were just right. A perfect Harz Mountains getaway. We'll definitely come back!

Inside, it's like taking a trip through time, from 1900 right up to today. This is a charming old place with years behind it, somewhere to linger and unwind. The owner has put so much care into the details and makes a personal connection, so it's easy to feel at home, even when the weather is bad. Our room was clean and roomy enough for three days. It had everything we needed, just no TV, which didn't bother us. Breakfast was simple but had what we needed, the coffee was really good, and the boss always had a kind word. We'd gladly come again. You can see there's renovation work still needed, though perhaps it can be done bit by bit.
