The breakfast was generous and really good for the price, and if you ask for something, they take care of it straight away. I stayed in a beautiful old villa, where the gracious, friendly hostess was easy to approach. There was even a kettle in the room, with complimentary tea and coffee, something I've never had at a guesthouse before.

We felt right at home here. It's clean, has what you need, and there's even a kettle in the room. The landlady is lovely, and breakfast is good and plentiful. If you aren't looking for much luxury, it's a good place to stay.

There were quite a few thoughtful touches in the room to make a guest comfortable, and it was pleasant, clean, and tidy. Breakfast was lukewarm, and the hostess didn't say much. For a guesthouse, I thought the price was too high.

We had a wonderful week here and have already booked another stay. The Albert Bath, spa gardens, and other Bad Elster attractions are an easy 10-minute walk away. We came on a recommendation and loved the quiet mornings, with breakfast prepared at a relaxed pace. Whether we went down at 8 or 10, the coffee was fresh and the rolls warm. The villa is old but very well kept, from the stylish staircase to the garden. Our room was comfortable and had everything we needed, and the beds were wonderfully comfortable. The house feels like a family setting, thanks in part to the very friendly, accommodating lady of the house and her son. Everything was immaculate. For anyone who likes this kind of vacation, it felt much nicer than a hotel. Many thanks to our landlady and her son.
