Sandra kindly came out to help when I arrived after check-in hours. The key box wasn’t working, so she showed me to my room. Towels for use at the baths were provided, and there’s parking, though the spaces can be tight for a mid-size car or anything larger. The breakfast was typical German fare for this kind of place, with just the right amount before heading to the thermals. The balcony looked onto trees and a garden, and it was peaceful to sleep with the door open. The small kitchenette had the basic supplies, which was handy. The bed was okay, though the pillows were too small and stiff for my taste. We got one small bar of soap for the whole stay. There’s an elevator, which made things easier. It was a very nice experience. The hotel and the town both have the charming, peaceful feel of a time capsule from 40 or 50 years ago.

The room was cozy and clean, with comfortable beds, a kettle and a fridge. The staff were friendly, breakfast was good, and the value for money was top-notch.

The breakfast room is quite small, but I thought the selection was sufficient. The underground garage entrance is narrow, so you need to drive in carefully. The accommodation was pleasant, a little outside the center but still an easy walk.

Charming little place, with very friendly staff and a superb breakfast buffet.
