The owner was unfriendly, the place was dirty and noisy, and the WLAN didn’t work.

The apartment wasn't up to scratch. The broken toilet seat in the bathroom had apparently gone unnoticed during cleaning, and geraniums had been left on the bedroom windowsill to overwinter. The living room sofa was uncomfortable, while the TV sat crooked on a cabinet and shelf. At reception I got only a lukewarm welcome. When I asked about another apartment in the building or some sofa cushions, I was told I could find something new myself, which I did gladly.

The apartments felt spacious and bright, and I especially appreciated having somewhere to store my bicycle. Villa Antonia is right in the centre, making it an easy base for the town's many activities. The hosts were attentive, flexible, friendly, and accommodating. The villa is showing its age, of course, though that comes down to personal taste.

We really didn't want to head home. It was such a lovely stay, and we'll come back here again. The place is cozy and right in the centre. Definitely worth a trip, highly recommend it.

Everything I needed was in the apartment, and it was perfectly clean 🙂. The owner was kind and helpful. Best of all, the view of the surrounding mountains from my apartment was magnificent.
