Appartementhaus Berlin

The thermal baths are only a five-minute walk away, and we felt very comfortable here. The apartment building is beautifully furnished, with a super friendly receptionist. The Berlin building has had renovations in recent years and includes a large common room. We'd be happy to come back. The photos show apartment no. 1.

The cleanliness was poor, with no apparent final check. We had to clean the cutlery ourselves. Photos show dirt on the bathroom cabinetry, shower cubicle and sink faucet. Warm water only trickled from the sink, and the Leinek roller shutter wouldn't close all the way. We also found a flea in the bedding. That was the last straw. This was our second stay, and we're done. Reception is supposedly open from 9:00 to 12:00, but the receptionist didn't seem to know the hours and was often absent. She was incredibly arrogant. In November, the apartment didn't even reach 19°C, and the only explanation we got was that the owners didn't want to invest anything. When we raised the problems in April 2025, she went into our room without permission while we were at the spa, even though there was no immediate danger. We only found out because the door had suddenly been double-locked. Completely unacceptable. Both visits were negative experiences. Thanks, never again.

There were a lot of tradespeople from out of town staying at the house, and it got quite noisy. On a Thursday public holiday, the other visitors didn't seem like spa guests either, which gave the place a different feel. I can no longer recommend staying here. It could be lovely, if only...

We made it through one night at Haus Berlin, and that was plenty. The room hadn't been cleaned well, the toilet barely flushed, and the beds were very hard. Scaffolding in front meant we couldn't use the balcony, which was dirty anyway. We raised these issues and were told to find somewhere else. So we did. Not recommended.
