Friendly staff, and the location in Bad Füssing is very good, close to Kurpark and Europatherme. The rooms are good, though the facilities aren't the newest.

The new owner was aggressive and irritable when we raised our concerns. That was especially disappointing after my husband and I had stayed at Zentral-Hotel in Bad Füssing at least once a year for the past five years. Since the change of ownership this year, the hotel, food, and especially the staff's friendliness all seem to have gone downhill. When we arrived around 1 p.m., nobody was there in person, so we had to collect our keys at reception. The elevator stayed out of order until we left. We both have mobility issues and had to carry our suitcases up to the third floor. Our rooms had only been roughly cleaned, with hairs from the previous guest still in the bathroom. Breakfast was disappointing too: very few kinds of bread rolls, and after 9 a.m. sometimes only bread was left. A very disappointing stay.

We were happy with things again: clean, good beds and a nice breakfast with fresh rolls and fresh cold cuts. We'd gladly return. The one downside for us girls getting dressed up for Haslinger was that there isn't a big mirror in the room.
