Bad Harzburg had everything we needed, and the nearby wildlife enclosures were lovely. We rented two well-equipped apartments with friends, our dog, and a toddler, and the town views from them were stunning. The forest is right next door, which made the location fantastic. They came with hotel-style supplies, including bed linen, towels, soap, and toilet paper. The owner was friendly, easy to deal with, and always reachable. We were thrilled and will definitely return.

We were very happy with the apartment's amenities, and the owner's jar of honey made a lovely souvenir. From the balcony, the view stretches all the way to the castle hill. The landlord was very friendly, and the place was wonderfully quiet as a base for exploring the Harz Mountains. We'd be glad to come back.

The landlord shared helpful tips about the apartment, the area, Goslar, and the Brocken, along with interesting insights into the Harz's nature and technology. Our spacious, cozy apartment was right by the forest and trailheads, with a wonderful balcony view over Bad Harzburg. We had a fantastic short hiking break in the Harz Mountains, helped along by great weather. We'll definitely return.
