Alpenchalet Iseler

Our kids made a beeline for the wooden train set, go-kart, and other toys, while the sauna downstairs quickly became a highlight for us. There’s loads of room, the bedrooms are lovely and have shutters, and the beds are comfortable. The bathrooms are great, too. The kitchen is better equipped than ours at home, and the tasteful furnishings make the whole place feel special. The owners were friendly and communication was easy. It’s also a handy base for hikes and other outdoor activities. We loved staying here and would happily return. DREAMY really does fit.

That view of the Iseler mountain is breathtaking, and the ski lift is close enough to walk to. There are hiking trails nearby as well. The place is on the quiet edge of town, and the host family were friendly and helpful, with great ideas for exploring the area. We spent a long weekend at Alpenchalet Iseler and loved the stylish apartments, decorated in a modern country style that suits the surroundings. Everything we needed was there, from a fully equipped kitchen to a well-stocked bathroom. The hostess had even left baskets of toiletries in case someone forgot something like a toothbrush. Absolutely recommend it, and we’ll be back.

We especially loved the two terraces, with lovely views of the Ornach and Iseler mountains. The house sits somewhere quiet but still central, with hiking trails close by and a charming little shop for delicious fresh bread rolls within easy reach. Inside, it was spotless and well cared for. The kitchens are thoughtfully furnished and had everything we needed, including a casserole dish and spices. The bathrooms had towels, hand soap, bin bags, and the other basics. The big garage made it easy to bring luggage and groceries straight into the house while keeping them dry and clean. In summer it keeps the car cool, and in winter you don’t have to scrape off ice. The owners were incredibly friendly. Our holiday was wonderful. My one small thought is that a comfortable circular sofa in the room with the conservatory would be lovely, so two or three people could stretch out in the evening and enjoy the view. Everything else was beautiful, and we’d love to come back.

The ski lifts are just a 3-minute walk away, and the house is in a fantastic spot in Oberjoch. We were a family of four with two children and felt at home as soon as we arrived. It’s spacious, high quality, very well maintained, and spotlessly clean. The owner was helpful, quick to respond, and answered all our questions.
