Elvira greeted me at reception and was incredibly friendly, a real credit to the hotel. I was just passing through on my way to Italy and stayed one night. The room was pleasant and had a balcony, and breakfast was included in the price and excellent. There’s also an honesty bar with fair prices, plus a nice terrace out front where you can sit and have a drink.

The breakfast buffet had loads of choice and was heavenly. When I had a headache, a woman from the kitchen kindly gave me some medicine. Mr Koch also made sure I was comfortable and helped arrange a taxi. Just so you know, there’s no Uber in Bad Liebenzell. The staff were kind and friendly, the service was great, and both the hotel and town are beautiful.
