M & E Ferienwohnung

Three days before the concert, the landlord cancelled my apartment because of overbooking. I’d booked and paid four months in advance through Booking.com for an apartment with M&E Apartments in Bad Mergentheim. Now I’m left without accommodation, and all the hotels are fully booked. Thanks a lot! 😡 Never again M&E Apartments or Booking.com. Even one star is too much.

Check-in through the keyhole is hit or miss. If it doesn’t work, you can be left waiting outside for up to an hour. Then the landlord’s son (?) lets you in, and you’re expected to apologize to him for the inconvenience you caused! The house is old and small, though it seems to have been renovated fairly recently and very cheaply. Tourist tax has to be paid in cash, with no documentation or invoice. Shame on anyone who thinks ill of it…

The place is very well kept, and the bathroom is really nice. It’s ideally located for the city center.

Everything was clean, and the location is very central. I’d gladly come back.
