Everything was okay, though the staff were only moderately friendly.

The location was great, breakfast was delicious, and the value for money was excellent. We felt very comfortable and had everything we needed. Our wonderful hosts went out of their way to meet our needs, which we really appreciated. We’ll definitely be back.

The hotel’s location right on the pedestrian zone and the parking were the only real advantages. The service was a disaster. Staff were rarely around, and on departure day the elevator was broken, which apparently happens often. They just said, “It’s not our fault,” and offered no help. Despite our mobility problems, we had to carry our bags down from the fourth floor ourselves. Even people using walkers got no assistance. There were other problems too: the shower was so cramped it was hard to get in, the hairdryer kept cutting out, and the TV was set for visually impaired users. The bathroom on the fourth floor was okay.

We had a lovely stay, and the place was better than I expected. Thanks very much.
