Villa Dora Petit Hôtel

We had exactly the romantic, relaxing break we wanted, especially with the mountain-view balcony in our Junior Suite. The rooms have a slightly old-fashioned feel, in a good way, and the just-renovated interior is harmonious and high quality, even though the very old house looks like a step back in time from outside. There's a small bar by the entrance with beer, local schnapps, and soft drinks. The service was friendly and helpful throughout. In summer, breakfast on the shared terrace must be lovely, with its panoramic views over the city and mountains. Rupertus Therme, the shopping street, and the royal spa gardens are all a pleasant stroll away. We'd gladly return and wholeheartedly recommend it.

We felt very at home and would love to come back. The breakfast buffet was up there with any 5-star hotel, with carefully chosen, top-quality regional products. The hosts were lovely, friendly people who gave us great excursion and restaurant tips right from the start. The Fuchs family put real care and dedication into renovating this impressive late 19th-century villa and bringing it back to life.

The room was so cozy, warm, exceptionally clean, and had everything I needed for a short break, including hot drinks. I spent two days and nights in this unique, carefully renovated Art Nouveau building and felt completely at ease. The welcome was warm, and the atmosphere stylish. It's a quiet spot but still central, close to the saltworks and spa park, with the old town and train station just a stone's throw away. There's a cold-drink bar at reception and a bookshelf of local literature for anyone who likes to read. The doors are a bit thin, as you'd expect in an older building, but it didn't bother me, and the owners are apparently still looking into a solution. I'd happily return.

The Fuchs family were incredibly welcoming and helpful. Everything was just right, and the decor was stylish and put together with care. We had a very pleasant few days. Best wishes.
