Schober am Kurpark

The service was top-notch.

The location in the spa town is the only thing I liked. I stayed for two weeks, paying €80 a night without breakfast, and the room cleaning situation was outrageous. I had called ahead about bringing my dogs and that was received very well, but the cleaning lady later refused to clean my room. When I asked her to, since I was paying for it, my request was ignored. The staff weren't particularly friendly either. The rooms have been newly renovated, but the bathrooms seem straight from the 70s. There were spiders when I went in, mold on the grout, a disgusting shower head, and a drain that looked like it had never been cleaned. The hallway door felt insecure and had a lot of play, so I could hear everything happening in the building. I wouldn't recommend it.

The breakfast stood out, with a great choice of fresh regional products, and the location made it easy to explore the lovely surroundings or just relax. I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Schober in Bad Salzschlirf. My room was modern, clean, and comfortably furnished, and the whole team was attentive and friendly. They really made an effort to make guests feel at home. I’d happily recommend Hotel Schober and would love to come back.

We stayed in the older section, and while the room was a little dated, it was surprisingly clean and well cared for. It had the cozy charm and lovely atmosphere of a country hotel. Service and breakfast were excellent, and our requests were handled promptly. We'd gladly return.
