The town and the place are both beautiful, and the location is just right. Breakfast was great too. I gave it 4 out of 5 because of that unnecessary sign on the door.

The homemade cakes are a real draw at the café, especially the poppy seed cream cake I recommend trying. My espresso was properly strong, and cakes are available to take away. I had brunch at the “Kleiner Grünauer” café today, which is inside the hotel of the same name at Wenkestraße 1. It's a small café with very tasteful decor, and the breakfast and brunch quality was truly outstanding. The young man serving was friendly and attentive. There’s also a small hot-food menu, along with slices of cake. The hotel and café share a listed historic building in Bad Salzuflen, listed as number 18 since January 30, 1987. It was built in 1911, and Rudolf Günther designed both the original building and the extension added in 1913. I can highly recommend the café at Hotel “Kleiner Grünauer”. 💕💕🙏🙏
