Sonnenhof Bad Salzuflen

We had to leave the payment in cash, so we got no proof of payment. The parking space was very tight. Our family car ended up with scratches all over it and a broken mirror. There was also nowhere to wash or dry our clothes, and the TV didn’t work despite being listed. The small bed was comfortable, at least. The website advertised 60-80 square meters, a dishwasher, filter coffee machine, oven, and plenty more. The apartment was barely 40 square meters, if that, and none of those appliances were there. The bathroom was tiny too. Getting to the radiator, sink, shower door, or toilet was a squeeze, and we practically had to touch each other to move around. Never again.

The email contact was good, and they answered our questions quickly. We felt comfortable in the apartment, and for Bad Salzuflen the price seemed acceptable. Still, it was much smaller than advertised: the website said 60 to 80 square meters, and the listed dishwasher was nowhere to be found.

Everything looked fresh and newly renovated, and we’d love to come back. The apartment is cozy, with a kitchen, refrigerator, coffee maker, and all the utensils needed for daily life and cooking. It’s right beside the pedestrian zone, with plenty of parking, the spa gardens next door, and Vitasol just a five-minute drive away.

There’s a terrace and parking, and the hostess is lovely and always ready to help. The place was very clean, just like the photos. From this comfortable hotel in the city center, restaurants, cafes, shops, the central park, and the inhalation zone are all within walking distance. I recommend it!
