The concert by local Sauerland band STEINE at the Kulturscheune was amazing. The village itself didn’t have much else to offer, but the hotel was absolute perfection, with top-notch service.

Breakfast was really good, and the staff there were fantastic. I had a very different experience with reception, though: no hello or smile, and they didn’t seem willing to help. There’s a lot of room for improvement there. The hotel is in a beautiful setting, and the Superior rooms are spacious. The sauna and steam bath are great and textile-free, while the large pool requires a swimsuit. Parking is a bit limited, so maybe book ahead. Wi-Fi was good on the second floor but really bad on the third, even though it was free.

We spent a week here, my son and I, and it was a wonderful stay. The hotel is well placed for walking around the Kurpark and town. The facilities were perfect for us. We used the pool, sauna, steam room and sun terraces, and everything was spotlessly clean. Our room was well equipped, with very comfortable beds. Reception staff were friendly and accommodating, greeting us with smiles whenever we passed. Breakfast in the restaurant was superb, with plenty of excellent choices for different diets, and the staff there were attentive and friendly too. I’d definitely call this a fabulous hotel and encourage people to book. I can’t imagine you’d be disappointed. Thank you!

The helpful, friendly staff and tasty, generous breakfast make it a pleasure every time. The rooms are always very clean. It’s close to a lovely park and makes a very good starting point for a cycling trip to Soest or the Möhnesee. Definitely recommend it!
