The room was comfortable, clean, and in a very good location. Breakfast was tasty, and the restaurant staff were good. I was unhappy with how my late checkout request was handled. The receptionist said a new group was arriving the next day and allowed only 30 extra minutes, but I checked Booking and found my room was free the following day. They could simply have told me it wasn't possible.
I didn't stay at the hotel, but I did eat at the restaurant. The food was good, with a nice range of Bavarian classics cooked well, and prices that are still reasonable. They're open all day, so you can always get something hot to eat.
The rooms and bathroom felt old. Light came through the curtains, and noise came through the windows and doors. The shower is over the tub, with only medium water pressure and no amenities. Floors could use a proper clean, though the sheets and towels were clean. The mattress was firm, with a large gap between the beds. There's no minibar or AC, and the wooden doors have just one click lock from inside. Church bells rang at 6 a.m. Breakfast choices were limited but okay. Parking is available off site.
A spacious room, good Wi-Fi, and a good shower made this a decent stopover. The mattress was a bit soft. Bottled water costs extra, and there was no tea or coffee, or even a kettle. Parking is at P11, a 3-5 minute walk from the hotel.
They made us feel welcome even though we arrived as wet motorcyclists. The place is right in the middle of the historic section, and the rooms are clean, up to date, and well appointed. Breakfast was good, the standard European spread of meat, cheese, and bread, and dinner was good too. The internet is VERY limited. I'd definitely stay again.
