The owners run this typical family-owned hotel, and it’s good value for the money. It’s within walking distance of the town center. Rooms are spacious, clean, and well maintained, with clean sheets and comfortable beds. Breakfast is rich and tasty. I’d only change the pillows, and I wish the cleaning staff replenished soaps and other bathroom supplies more often.

We’ll stay here again next time we’re driving in that direction. It’s a bed and breakfast in a quiet spot on the edge of Bad Wimpfen old town, with good car parking. We got a very friendly welcome, and the breakfast buffet had everything we needed.

The location is central and quiet, which is really good. Our room (No. 4) was quite large and had a balcony. The bathroom was okay, but the room needs renovation. The carpet is very dirty and stained and urgently needs replacing, and the walls need some attention too.

There’s plenty of free parking right in front of this lovely little hotel, which has about 8 rooms. It’s on a very quiet one-way street, and the staff pay attention to guests’ wishes and suggestions. Breakfast costs €10, is nicely presented, and leaves little to be desired. The mattresses were a bit too soft for me. There’s a small refrigerator in the room, plus a hallway fridge downstairs with various drinks if you want something on the balcony in the evening. We stayed one night for the valley market and would definitely recommend the hotel.
