We loved how peaceful and charming the countryside setting was, and free parking was a real convenience. At Landhotel Traube in Baden-Baden, we booked a junior suite and a single room, both with lovely views and exceptional cleanliness. The whole property was so well kept, honestly one of the cleanest hotels I’ve seen. The restaurant had delicious food, great drinks, and warm service. They kept it open longer for our young family, which we appreciated. Breakfast was just as good, with a generous spread and staff happily bringing more whenever we wanted. A fantastic stay, and we’d love to return.

We spent one night here after driving around Alsace, and it worked perfectly as a stop for either Baden Baden or Karlsruhe airport, both about a 15-minute drive away. The traditional decor gives it a cozy, homely feel, and the staff were really friendly and accommodating. The restaurant deserves high marks too: tasty local food alongside favorites like a delicious homemade burger, penne bolognese, and even curry. Breakfast was fab as well. For a small family-run hotel, it holds its own against the bigger places in the town center. A real gem.

It has a distinctive character, with traditional decor that almost feels like stepping back in time. The little hotel is warm and welcoming, and the staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. Baden-Baden’s thermal city is only 10 minutes away, making this a hidden gem for exploring Alsace.
