Limehome Baden Baden Ba Derstraaye

The apartment was a good size for my family and in a convenient spot, right by the public baths. It was clean throughout apart from the oven. There’s no parking at the property, so we had to unload our bags downstairs before taking the car to a nearby public lot. That came to about 20 euros a day.

There are several parking options within a five-minute walk, though it’s worth unloading your things before heading to park. The place is close enough to reach the bars and restaurants in the center easily, while still being far enough away to stay quiet. Very good so far!

We walked to all the sights from here except for the Hohenbaden Castle ruins, and the location really is excellent. Our room had a balcony and a fan. We enjoyed quiet mornings and evenings outside, as well as walks to nearby sights and restaurants. We even did a few loads of laundry after buying detergent and fabric softener. I’d come back in a heartbeat.

The location is good and the place has potential, but the experience felt incomplete. There’s an oven for baking, yet no microwave, and the apartment has nowhere comfortable to unwind after a long day: just one couch in the living and kitchen area, so the second person has to stand to watch TV. It seemed the people who designed and run it hadn’t stayed in places like this themselves. Maintenance was poor, there was no personal touch, and the service center was useless. It wasn’t for us, sorry.
