The staff were very friendly, especially the woman at reception, and we had a nice stay. Breakfast had plenty of choice, with coffee brought to the table. Dinner was excellent, with a set place for us and a generous salad buffet. The hotel sits in a lovely walking area in a small village. There's a small station within walking distance, and guests get a Gåstenkarte for free travel during their stay. Our room wasn't very big, but it had a balcony and mini fridge, ample storage, and everything was clean. The bathroom was spacious, with a walk-in shower, and there's also a swimming pool. It would help to have the menu in English, since some of it was in Swabian. Even one waiter didn't know what a particular dish was in German.

The room was big, the pool was nice, and the location worked well. Service at reception, breakfast, and room cleaning was very kind. Breakfast included tasty holunder jam and schwarzwald ham. The price was fair.
