I had a pleasant night here.
The accessible rooms were excellent and truly wheelchair-friendly. We were here for my sister's wedding this past weekend, and everything felt wonderful. The food was delicious, the staff incredibly friendly, and they paid attention to every detail and really went the extra mile. We'd definitely come back.
The rooms were quiet, the food was excellent, and the conference rooms were fantastic. The location was great too. What really made it special was the team, from the head chef to Birte & Elke in the service. Absolutely superb, and highly recommended. We'll definitely be back. Thanks so much, and keep up the great work! đŹâđź
The tables were set with care, but the room felt more like a crowded hall than a festive banquet space. The noise was high, as expected for that room, and there wasn't much of a Christmas atmosphere. The wine and water glasses stayed on the table instead of being cleared, something you'd expect a good restaurant to do. The venison goulash was blandly seasoned, and the meat was tough and stuck between my teeth. One of the three pieces was just a sliver with tendons and cartilage. It was a shame an animal had to die for this. The dumplings were two small balls of an unidentifiable substance, while the red cabbage only matched its name by color. The food tasted like fish oil and lard, and even the salt I added did little to give it flavor. The goose menu was tough as leather too. We had Christmas dinner at Leiners Landhotel today, and it was a complete disappointment. It led to two such experiences, and even the "replacement coffee" didn't prevent the stomach upset that followed. Charging 4-star restaurant prices for food that isn't even mediocre is truly appalling. There's only one conclusion: Leiners Landhotel, never again!
The room was a real highlight: very clean and spacious, with separate sleeping and living areas. Our seven-year-old daughter was thrilled to have a bed of her own. We spent three days in Sande on a whim, just hoping for a break from everyday life and some time by the sea :-) The hotel sits in an industrial area, though shops are within walking distance. Breakfast could be better, and an outdoor play area for kids might be a nice addition. Otherwise, everything was great.
